A sculptural letterform that conveys Paula Scher's graphic design work through thoughtfully chosen colors, materials, and shapes. The use of paper all over the structure refers to her early bookwork. The colors orange, yellow, and black are in many of her projects, such as her book Make It Bigger

The "P" letterform refers to her name and the Pentagram design studio where she works, and the orientation was to make the overall shape more dynamic. The varying heights and widths between the rectangular blocks represent her interior and exhibition designs, where different colors appear from various perspectives. These rectangles are also reminiscent of her extensive use of bold weights in type, an iconic example being her branding of The Public Theater.
